Sihao Huang joined Anthropic as Head of Frontier Compute Strategy to oversee infrastructure expansion and coalition building. The role involves working with compute lead Tom Brown to coordinate the technical and strategic requirements for rapid AI progress through the planning of large scale computing resources.

Huang previously served as a senior policy advisor for AI and emerging technology at the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy under the Trump administration. His government tenure included leading the OSTP AI team and coordinating semiconductor and national security affairs, following research on AI competition at the RAND Corporation and studies at MIT.
