Figure Robot Hits 56% Success in Unseen Homes Via First Human POV Model
topics 🤖 AI tags TechRoboticsAIAI ModelsAI Releases keywords

The Helix 2.5 robot performed domestic chores in 30 rental properties that it had never entered before. Figure's machine achieved a 56% zero-shot success rate after pretraining on human point-of-view videos, compared to an 8% rate without that data. The evaluation included full body behaviors such as making beds, folding towels, and tidying toys into baskets.

Training is powered by Index, an app where 115,000 weekly active users upload 2.4 million videos of daily activity. This dataset grows by 53 minutes of real-world data every second to facilitate the direct transfer of human movement to the humanoid form. Figure has committed $3.5 billion in compute for the next model version to expand the system's scaling capabilities.
