An artificial intelligence firm from Australia is arranging with banks to acquire the funding necessary for a regional infrastructure project. Firmus Technologies is in talks for a financing deal of roughly $10 billion to purchase Nvidia chips for its data center in Indonesia.

The startup is backed by Nvidia and intends to use the proceeds to build out its computing capacity within the Indonesian market. The scale of the credit facility would allow the company to secure the large volumes of graphics processing units required for high-capacity AI operations.
