Krea launched Krea 2, its first image-model family trained entirely from scratch, with Krea 2 Medium debuting at No. 6 on Artificial Analysis's text-to-image leaderboard, behind only models from OpenAI, Google and Nvidia. Artificial Analysis said the smaller Medium variant outperformed Krea 2 Large, the more expensive version.

Both models generate 1K-resolution images and support style transfer, creativity settings and moodboards through Krea's API. They are available in the Krea app, through the API and via third-party launch partners, with Medium priced at $30 per 1,000 images and Large at $60 per 1,000 before extra charges for some features.
