Developers can now integrate third party APIs into Meta's Muse AI agent via a new connector platform released September 18. The system allows users to access external services by asking the agent, which processes each request within a secure virtual machine. A partnership with Stripe enables these integrated businesses to accept agentic payments directly through the Muse interface.

The developer rollout accompanies a climb to the No. 1 position on the App Store for the agent. Initial available connectors include Notion for document management and Granola for meeting notes, supplementing earlier tests of robot and mood light integrations. The agent requires user confirmation before executing actions deemed consequential to the account.
