Muse has led app downloads in the US store since Friday. Meta shifted in-app promotional slots on Facebook and Instagram to feature the product and aired the first national television advertisement for the AI agent this weekend.

Meta is using a cross-promotional strategy similar to the one deployed for Threads, which currently ranks No 18 in the US App Store. That application launched global advertising in January to secure its distribution and scale within the company's existing social ecosystem.
