Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged governments to prioritize the enforcement of current cybersecurity, product liability, and contract laws over the creation of new AI regulations. He argued that these legal frameworks already cover most AI risks, stating that officials have enough existing laws to apply before introducing new rules.

Huang also rejected a blanket ban on the sale of American AI products to China to ensure U.S. companies can compete rather than cede the market. He noted that the company's Vera Rubin AI chips are in volume production and several years ahead of Chinese technology, disagreeing with a call by Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei to stop selling powerful AI technology to China.
