Expense management startup Ramp reported that GPT-6 Astra took nearly 19% of business spending, surpassing Anthropic's Claude Opus 5, which held 17%. OpenAI models collectively eclipsed those from Anthropic in total share of corporate spend last week.

The rise of the Astra model follows its Sept. 3 release and a trend of increased adoption among professional users. Ramp monitors these spending shifts by analyzing expense data from corporate clients to measure the specific market share of individual AI tool providers by dollar amount.
