It includes 26 partner plugins from companies such as Thomson Reuters and Harvey, as well as 47 community-developed tools, with API access for the legal configuration following the initial rollout.

OpenAI developed customized workflows with Sullivan & Cromwell for agreement analysis, Ropes & Gray for M&A diligence, and Cooley for IPO preparation. Self-reported tests using the Vals Legal Research Bench show Astra for Law achieving a 90.0% weighted rubric score and a 53.7% all-pass rate, compared to 84.1% and 39.6% respectively for the base model using web search.
