OpenCode provides free access to the model for one week and maintains a zero-retention policy for user prompts. OpenRouter traffic recorded 1.96 billion tokens on day one, while the model's estimated cost is 18 times lower than GPT-6 Astra and Opus 5. Users have speculated the model may be GLM 5.4 from ZAI, though others cite the lack of a visible chain of thought as evidence it is a closed-source system.
