The tool reached the No 1 spot for free apps on the US Apple App Store and Google Play stores with more than 902,000 downloads in the first six days following its Sept. 8 debut. Sensor Tower analyst Abe Yousef reported this volume exceeded the 773,000 downloads seen by the predecessor Meta AI app during the same post-launch window.

The product's popularity lifted semiconductor shares on predictions that AI agents require more processing cores per data center than standard chatbots. Arm shares grew 17%, Intel jumped 12.2%, and AMD climbed 9.95% to exceed $1 trillion in market value for the first time, contributing to a record Nasdaq Composite close of 27,122. JPMorgan analysts stated that Muse could become the most widely used consumer AI product since ChatGPT.
