A new suite of educational tools released by TypeSafe AI provides a hands-on environment for developers to test a model that outputs typed decisions instead of natural language. The interactive primer and playground, launched Sept. 20, allow users to test specific software use cases and understand the limitations of the tool without traditional prompt engineering or JSON parsing.

Jev is currently available in beta via OpenRouter and the Venice API, with pricing at $0.042 per 1 million input tokens and free output. Designed for high-frequency tasks like fraud detection and ticket routing, the model delivers answers in 70 to 500 milliseconds and is up to 440x cheaper and 190x faster than standard LLMs for identical logic workflows.
