Voice capabilities are rolling out for xAI's Grok Bot assistant via a gradual deployment starting Sept. 17. The update provides verbal interaction on desktop and mobile platforms, with the feature reaching all users within several days. Users can access the new interface by downloading the Grok Bot application for their respective devices.

The Grok Voice model supports 30+ voices in 25+ languages and records a response latency of 0.70 seconds. The system integrates with the fal platform for building low-latency agents for customer service, completes tool calls before a sentence ends, and includes technology to clone a speaker's voice from two minutes of audio samples.
