Developers of AI agents can now accept hosted payments in Circle-issued USDC through a new Facilitator Service on the Arc blockchain. The system supports on-chain settlement on Arc, Base, and Polygon, removing the requirement for x402 builders to manage relayer keys or fund separate gas wallets to facilitate autonomous agent transactions.

The service allows AI agents to autonomously discover and pay for services via a hosted payment path. Arc's mainnet launched September 16 with institutional validators including BlackRock and Visa, recording $3.5 billion in USDC transaction volume on its first day and minting 10 billion ARC tokens.
