Physicians across the United States can now access a detailed map of cancer mutations and treatment responses through a partnership between Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) and OpenEvidence. The collaboration embeds MSK's OncoKB precision oncology knowledge base directly into OpenEvidence and integrates the tool into MSK's Epic workflow to facilitate evidence-based insights at the point of care. This allows practitioners in small practices to access the same evidence as subspecialists in Manhattan.

Access to the detailed mutation map was previously limited to patients treated at MSK. Dr. Debyani Chakravarty, a lead scientist for OncoKB, said the project brings expert interpretation of unique cancer genetics to cancer care providers nationwide to help them make molecularly informed treatment decisions.
