Mark Zuckerberg revealed a suite of hardware during the company's Connect keynote that pushes the Muse AI agent beyond the constraints of the smartphone. The centerpiece is a pair of virtual reality glasses priced at $1,299 and weighing 100 grams, which offload compute and battery to an external pack to reduce size and weight compared to the Apple Vision Pro. Meta also announced the Muse Charm, a palm-sized 5G handheld device for interacting with the AI agent, which is scheduled to ship in December.

The product expansion includes new Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses starting at $349 without cameras, shipping Oct. 3, and third-generation Ray-Bans starting at $449. Meta added an FDA-cleared hearing aid mode to its eyewear for a $150 fee or via a Meta One subscription. To broaden Muse's utility, the assistant now includes voice, real-time video, an email address, and 'computer use' for Mac, while employing private processing to prevent Meta from accessing user data.
