Krea launched Krea 2, its first image-model family trained entirely from scratch, with Krea 2 Medium debuting at No. 6 on Artificial Analysis’s text-to-image leaderboard, behind only models from OpenAI, Google and Nvidia. Artificial Analysis said the smaller Medium variant ranked ahead of the larger, more expensive Krea 2 Large.

Both models generate 1K-resolution images and are available in the Krea app, through Krea’s API and via third-party launch partners. Medium is priced at $30 per 1,000 images and Large at $60 per 1,000, with additional charges for style-transfer and moodboard features; the API also includes adjustable creativity settings and style transfer using up to 10 reference images.
