A new electronic payment system will enable the Muse AI assistant to execute retail transactions using a user's saved payment details. The tool, reportedly called Meta Pay for Muse, functions as a first-party wallet that allows the agent to handle the entire cycle of product discovery, personalized recommendations, and checkout within a single interaction flow.

This development shifts the AI from a discovery tool to a transactional layer following a series of strategic partnerships. Muse currently supports 'agentic checkout' across all Shopify stores via Shop Pay and enables shopping across all PayPal merchants worldwide, with additional integrations with Expedia for hotel bookings and Instacart for grocery delivery.
