A new AI agent developed by Meta has seen rapid adoption among mobile users following its release earlier this month. Muse hit the No. 1 spot in the App Store seven days after its launch, coinciding with the release of a macOS application currently limited to the US that allows the tool to manage files and pull data from other software on the computer.

The macOS version integrates with calendar, notes, and messages to organize folders or summarize communications with explicit permission. This expansion follows the deployment of Muse on iOS, Android, and the web, and the introduction of an invite system offering 1 billion tokens to users and their friends for up to 20 referrals. Meta is also expanding a beta for outbound calls to US businesses.
