Meta expanded the utility of its Muse AI application through partnerships with PayPal and Expedia that allow for autonomous shopping and travel booking. A separate agreement with Shopify integrates Shop Pay to facilitate agentic checkout across all Shopify storefronts. These tools enable users to find and book hotels or complete e-commerce purchases across PayPal merchants worldwide without leaving the Muse interface.

JPMorgan analysts forecast that Muse could become the most widely used consumer AI product since ChatGPT. The app reached the No. 1 position on Apple's U.S. App Store on Sept. 22. Meta also opened a connector platform to allow more third party businesses to integrate their services with Muse agents.
