1 story1 Crusoe Secures $3.9 Billion at $30.9 Billion Valuation for Factory Built Data Centers↩︎ AI Sep 17, 5:16 AM EDT 3/3
Investment firms Atreides, Valor, and Mubadala led a capital injection for Crusoe to fund the production of modular data centers. The round raised $3.9 billion and valued the developer at approximately $30.9 billion post-money. This strategy focuses on shifting away from traditional site construction toward factory built facilities to accelerate infrastructure deployment.
The financing follows a multiyear AI cloud agreement with Perplexity to provide Nvidia GB300 systems for model training and inference. Crusoe previously signed a roughly $13 billion AI cloud deal with Jane Street and has access to Nvidia's upcoming Vera Rubin processors to compete with neocloud providers such as CoreWeave and Nebius.
