Preorders are now open for a new line of AI laptops from Google that integrate Gemini Intelligence and sync with Android devices. The Googlebook models feature 2.8K OLED touchscreen displays and a 14 hour battery life, with prices starting at $899. Devices ship Oct. 4 in the U.S. via Google Store and Best Buy.

Intel provides the hardware for the first generation of these devices via Core Ultra Series 3 processors, codenamed Panther Lake. Those specific Intel-powered models go on sale Oct. 5, 2026, integrating connectivity and efficiency features from Intel's flagship client platform.
