The Muse AI assistant will now operate across a new range of dedicated hardware designed to minimize reliance on smartphones. Meta's primary addition is a pair of virtual reality glasses weighing 100g with 5K micro-OLED displays, marking the first time the company has delivered VR in a glass form factor rather than a full headset. These glasses, which move the processor and battery to a wired pocket puck, ship in Spring 2027 for $1,299. Meta also revealed the Muse Charm, a 5G-enabled, fingerprint-activated handheld with a 2-inch OLED screen and cameras for AI visual analysis, targeting a December 26 release.

Additional launches include the Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses, the first camera-free model in the line, which features FDA-cleared hearing aid functionality. Meta expects to offer over 100 frame styles by year-end and intends to monetize the Muse agent by taking fees from shopping transactions. The AI platform now integrates with partners like Walmart, Best Buy and PayPal, while introducing 'computer use' capabilities for Mac and a dedicated email address for the agent to handle user tasks.
